These Lintels are manufactured from 280N carbon steel sheet that has been hot dip zinc coated at the steel mills under controlled conditions to achieve ultimate adhesion of the protective 42µm zinc coating.

We offer a large and well established range of standard galvanised lintels, complete with load tables and section properties for use by designers. This is the largest range of standard galvanised lintels available in the UK, beaten in size only by our extensive new stainless range.

These lintels are manufactured from minimum 3.0mm gauge 280N carbon steel with a minimum 43µm zinc coating. Other manufacturers use steel as light as 1.6mm gauge with less than 1/2 the zinc coating, and rely on additional paint coatings for protection.

Galvanised lintels offer the most economical solution for interior or protected external lintel applications, and because most of our lintels are manufactured & delivered within days of order (even specials!) specifying Harvey ensures even unusual lintels won't cause delays!
