These lintels are designed for cavity applications where the inner is supported by other means, or where there isn’t any masonry on the inner. They can be combined with single wall lintels on the inner to create a cavity lintel that enables the inner and outer leafs to be raised to different schedules. The double wall lintel types in our galvanised lintel range are shown below, each is available in a range of sizes to suit different loads and masonry widths. View the PDF files for details of all the lintels in that range, including options and load tables. |
TF1 & TF2 Lintels(Light - Medium duty) TF or ‘Timber Frame’ lintels cater for outer leaf masonry support in timber frame applications. They are an economic way of maintaining fairfaced masonry on timber framed buildings. |

'O' Lintels(Medium to Heavy duty) ‘O’ lintels are useful for supporting the outer leaf from an inner lintel, block work or concrete slab. They still require a masonry bearing at both ends, but give additional strength over using a single wall lintel and also provide the basis for a DPC. |
